Global Iconoclasm: Interdisciplinary Workshop on Public Statues, Human Bodies, and the Power of Monuments

On Thursday, November 23rd, the Cultural History Section of the Transcultural Connections Group will organize a workshop focused on exploring the similarities through space and time between practices, discourses, and images of iconoclasm, and the ways these connections can be further conceptualized today. The event will feature talks by renowned scholars in the field, who engage with the notion of ‘iconoclasm’ from different disciplines in their research, and will include a visit to the Dom cathedral.
